Our values are based on our vision of our continent. They are based on the fact that we choose to see Africa as a land of excellent opportunity, not dark desolation.
These values do not define a performance evaluation or the frequency of projects we develop on a timing. Rather, they present the ability to understand the context in which we find ourselves and decide to see, to interpret to act differently, while optimizing each of them in our work.

who we are
OCEANE GROUP is an organization of people working to promote the economic development of Africa in general and Cameroon in particular since 2012; officially in 2016. Its vision is to encourage and support young people to position themselves as actors (entrepreneurs) of development, by associating with their potential, knowledge through a good to obtain concrete and very high value-added companies.
It is an apolitical, non-profit non-governmental organization (authorization No.83/GDR/F.34/SAAJP) working with entrepreneurs, teachers, professionals, students and researchers, for the study and implementation of projects whose social and environmental impact is highlighted.
Our responsibility as social entrepreneurs lies not only in the level of inspiring entrepreneurs but also at those who are aware of the challenge of sustainable development and thus to fight unemployment by creating opportunities jobs. That is why we are working not only to help young people with socio-professional integration, but also to take an interest and action in the face of the social and environmental problems we all face, including pollution and climate change.
OCEANE is also a platform for the exchange of ideas, for the realization of ideas, and those who participate in them have a burden on the public interest; they are those for whom the community cause is more valuable than their own.
She is not only interested in the socio-economic environment but also in man in his know-how, his know-how, his savoir-vivre and above all his development.
justification of our existence
In our environment, parents are educating their children with the mentality that they attend for a university degree, and if they have the “chance” to succeed in a competition, they will do good for the whole family. That’s why we see that young people after their bachelor’s degree (for those who attend) spend most of their time doing competitions year after year, waiting for this “chance” to succeed and be integrated into the Public Service.
As a result, many drop out of school after three, four and sometimes five years at university. They choose to engage either clandestinely in the trade of transporter (motorcycle taxi), or in the street trade, or prostitution or gambling (“paris-foot … »). One observation is clear; few of them dare to rebuild and think of their lives in order to gradually reach the heights.
They can be found in drinking establishments, night-time leisure establishments… so that our country found itself among the[1] world’s major consumers of alcohol in 2013; and reached a large record[2]of alcohol consumption in one night, not tomention other scourges such as poverty, prostitution, drug use, …
What can drive the nationals of a country with such enormous mining, energy, agricultural and industrial potential to break world records of poverty and unsanitary morals? And why every year young people take the risk of crossing seas and oceans in canoes and travelling through entire countries by car, this to go west to work? Despair, laziness, lack of knowledge, lack of vision!

the lead team
The founding COUPLE TIAM, consisting of Laura and Carletto, has been working together full-time for several years to promote employment in the Cameroon. They are very open-minded people; any advice is welcome and could be the subject of a new project idea.
Very tolerant of failure, their vision does not change because of adverse circumstances. The Cameroonian entrepreneurial context, rather than being a source of discouragement, helps to strengthen their values. They dream extremely big and believe in their being.
Many young people with the same burden and passion have joined them in working together to achieve the goals. To date, we have more than 20 people in several regions who work continuously and objectively to carry out these missions .

TIAM Carletto is a young Cameroonian very ambitious and very objective, who knew how to mark his entourage from an early age by his initiatives.
He is a computer science engineer oriented in social entrepreneurship. His goal is not to steal the show, nor to be the only one on the market because he always keeps in mind that all job creators should be encouraged and not stopped. Carletto is a very open-minded person, everything advice is welcome and could be the subject of a new idea of job creation for young people.

Married to Carletto TIAM, Laura has chosen to dedicate her life alongside her husband to serve the youth in search of a landmark solution and give them a real vision and support and a smile.
Laura TIOSSOK worked very early in her youth and therefore faced different professional constraints. This experience was for her a pedestal to understand the difficulties faced by African youth; which created in her devotion for service.

Conseiller Stratégique
Albert KUATE is a motivational analyst, oriented in leadership and personal development. He has been supervising, advising and coaching the Cameroonian youth for a decade. One of his goals is to leave his generation a legacy for a better world with his phrase "my best and nothing else".
